Summer in winding down and fall is knocking at the door. The days are getting shorter and leaves have a tint of color to them. Hunting season is just around the corner along with some of the best fishing of the year.
This was a great summer. The weather was nice, fishing was good, and new memories were made by all. Our explosion of color is coming, along with lake turn-over. Both muskies and walleyes will be feeding heavily before ice-over. Bucks will be in rut and the ducks will be flying.
We are now located on a 4-wheeler trail. You can access Vilas and Forest County trails from The Cottage.
It’s not too early to plan for your 2017 getaway. We are already booking weeks if you have a special week in mind. Now is the time to reserve.
